Research On The BOSS For Radio Film And Television With The Design And Implement Of Its Charging System

With the development of Network Technology, broadband access has become more and more necessary to application in home networks. however, the gap between the broadband access solution wildly used and the demond of people has been more and more obvious, since the can't offer enough performance and quality to Net-Meeting, VOD and VoIP. NGN(Next Generation Network) is an open Network that could provide very new services, such as audio, video and data service, NGN now becomes a hot topic in the worldwide.A strong and stable OSS, which not only ensures ease-of-use and reliable network for user, but also manageable and flexible infrastructure for operators, is necessary to this new network infrastructure and will benefit both sides. As the key module of this new OSS, billing sub-system is the base which ensures the benefit of operators and the good experiences of users. In this thesis, we illustrate the NGN and NGOSS's architecture which is suitable for NGN managerment first, then we implement a billing system of NGOSS, and the main idea of design this system, the methods of the implement and the architecture of this system will be given in this thesis too.The billing system discribed in this thesis, matched the architecture reference given by 3GPP, united with the situation of the industry of radio film and television, based on Diameter protocol which is the first protocol selected by most ISO such as ITU, 3GPP and 3GPP2, abiding by the principle and architecture of NGOSS, implement the online/offline charging in the system of radio film and television, convergent billing of full service and prepaid/postpaid, provide the theory for building the oss of NGB.
