Research On Integrated Billing System Of Zhengzhou Unicom

With the arrival of the era of3g, there is a need for a high efficient application environmentto ensure that no matter what appeared on the popular business market, operators can provideright service for customers quickly and with low cost. The original billing system is a systemproviding charging ability for basic networks, such as fixed network, GSM, and each networkhas independent billing system. With the emergence of new business, to meet the needs of thecomplete accounting billing, there must be repeated investment and construction, the cost is highand the efficiency is low, and charging ability between different systems is different, that willmake information sharing and business bound marketing hard. In a word, the original billingsystem can’t satisfy the requirements of future applications.Thus, Zhengzhou Unicom Start to build the new billing system for BSS, it is the IntegratedBilling System. The author involved in the work of the system before it is online, and theresearch and development work are the contents of this thesis.In this thesis, the system is designed from the aspects such as software hierarchy, data planand logic structure, billing process, system functions, and so on. The idea and part of results ofthe system implementation are given. This system can uniformly process the service, billinginformation collection and management for fixed network and mobile network; it is agile andadaptable, and is also efficient in the new business deployment. This paper mainly studies thecomprehensive billing accounting system structure and each function module.Now，the Integrated Billing System of Zhengzhou Unicom has been in used, and the effectis good.
