Table tennis has always been one of the advantages of competitive sports in our country.This sport continues and rapidly developing into college and being one of the most popular sport. Table tennis teaching research is an important guarantee to improve the quality of table tennis teaching. Teaching is a kind of social practice activity with clear purpose, but the old teaching method can not serve for the development of the future society in this kind of social practice. Facing the current physical education,comprehensively improve the quality of teaching so that students can be more complete and fully grasp the sports technology in class,in order to achieve a solid foundation for lifelong physical education.It is one of the important tasks of the current college physical education options. It’s sure that only a better solution to the problem of teaching methods can make a better quality to complete the teaching task of physical education.The main purpose of this research is to prove the difference between “experiential teaching method”and“traditional teaching method” then try to solve the technical difficulties in students’ learning process.In this paper, use the "experiential teaching method" in the non physical education college table tennis elective course of the technical teaching as the research object.The main use of teaching experiment,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and other research methods in view of the six colleges and universities in Xi’an such as: Shaanxi Normal University, Northwestern University, Xi’an Electronic and Science University, Chang’an University, Xi’an University of technology, Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts.And in the view of their table tennis elective course students natural class in 2015 academic year..One is the experimental group and the other is the contrast group to carry out the table tennis single technology, theoretical knowledge and comprehensive performance and other indicators of evaluation. After the experiment of 12 weeks that the relevant experimental data are obtained.In point of the effect of experiential teaching method on the students of the experimental group were compared and analyzed. Through the comparative analysis reach the results that:1.physical education program including the class preparation, classroom teaching, homework assignments, guidance after-school, teaching assessment and teaching evaluation.So teachers choose good teaching methods will play a important role in improving and perfect the standard of teaching procedure.2.Too much dominance will only lead to decrease the time of the students’ subjective status in class and contrary the principle of "the balance of classroom" in this way. The application of experiential teaching method in teaching of table tennis can be more reasonable to reflect the principle of balance in the classroom and can more effectively to switch the teacher’s dominance to the main status of the students.3.The other difference between the experiential teaching and the traditional teaching method is that the former pays more attention to the communication and cooperation between teachers and students. When Teachers designing the teaching program will put the emphasis on communication among the students and establish a good effective information return system among the students. Through the observation and cooperation between the students would let them be more reasonable and effective to understand the technical movement.4.In the process of table tennis teaching, students’ learning attitude has a direct effect on teachers’ teaching process and students’ learning process. Students have a good learning attitude that will directly promote the effect of their learning.Through the comparative analysis reach the conclusion that:1.If some ordinary universities in Xi’an use experiential teaching method,teachers creation an effective experiential teaching program according to the teaching goal,let students play the main status with pertinence that could effectively improve the teaching quality of table tennis lessons.2.Using the experience teaching method of table tennies enhances the communication among students,culture the spirit of cooperation among students and make them help each othe.3.Through the experience teaching method whitch created by teachers will enhance their self-confidence so that it will has a positive effect on the study of table tennis.4.Experience teaching method achieves the students’ subjectivity and the principle of comprehensive development of their bodies and minds from the fundamental.It make further efforts to motivate the initiative and enthusiasm and training the consciousness of “life-long exercise” in students.
