Development of Higher Education,as a key part of national development in many aspects,it plays an important role.Maintain a reasonable capacity of higher education,carry out effective planning and development of higher education,it can lead to a better guide the direction of the scale of higher education.Gansu Province as the less developed regions,in the year of 2005,enter the popularization of higher education,through the efforts of policy documents and guidance in areas such as colleges and universities, has maintained a good development trend of higher education.Development of Higher Education in Gansu Province,it is undeniable that the existence of the average level of Gansu Province and China’s higher education is a gap,the size of the future of higher education in Gansu Province should remain what size and growth rate,the size of what higher education it is reasonable to Gansu province,this article is to explore the issue.We provide Gansu Province Department of Education provide the data at different levels,in the form of specific indicators points scale,sub-discipline categories,sub-sector,sub-division and other disciplines were collated and analyzed by descriptive statistics multiple perspectives on the current state of higher education in Gansu Province were analyzed,the final analysis of the future direction of higher education obtained in Gansu province via data,discussions on the scale of the problems of higher education.This paper is divided into three parts,the first part is an introduction,mainly introduces the history and background of higher education proposed scale studies of Gansu Province.In a review of researches elaborated by statistical methods in higher education,further review of researches to sort out a comprehensive literature review and statistical results at home and abroad. In the final part of the introduction,we introduce the research methods and data sources of this study.The second part is the status of the scale of higher education in Gansu Province,which is the core part of this study.Through the multi-dimensional data,using economic and other variables to predict higher education in Gansu Province and China’s higher education gross enrollment rate of future trends,identify gaps exist.The third part is the conclusion part of the article and discussion,mainly for the second part of the data analysis corresponding summary, the results of this part to undertake data analysis according to the specific statistics derived for specific aspects of the discussion.
