With the rapid development of social economy, the barriers of the dual system of urban and rural areas have gradually broken down, and a large number of rural surplus labors have poured into the cities. This has made rural left-behind children into a large group. How to help left-behind children to improve social welfare is more recent.Over the years, the focus of the academic community has gradually changed from a problem perspective to the improvement of health quality. This article takes the author's practice in the Children's Home of S Village,Pingdingshan City,Henan Province as the background, and uses the group social work method to conduct practical research on how to improve the resilience level of left-behind children from the perspective of advantage.Statistics show that:(1)Before the intervention, the comprehensive resilience level of left-behind children was lower than that of non-left-behind children, especially in terms of family support,self-awareness and social support.(2)After the intervention, the resilience level of left-behind children has improved significantly compared with the previous test, which is basically the same as that of non-left-behind children, indicating that the intervention of group work has a significant effect on the resilience level of left-behind children.(3)The improvement in family support is relatively small, showing that the effectiveness of this group intervention has certain limitations.Through research,it is found that social work intervention based on the perspective of advantage is effective for improving the resilience level of left-behind children, but short-term social work intervention has limitations. The developmental characteristics of resilience should be established in a long-term and systematic manner.Intervention programs can make social work services more directional and better help left-behind children develop resilience.
