Clearly put forward the overall goal "to make satisfactory education for people" by the eighteenth congress, the congress established the specific requirements of "positive development of continuing education, perfect the lifelong educational system". National prosperity depends on education. Development of education relies on the quality of teachers. Recently, educational research for teachers has gradually become a focus in the study of scholars at home and abroad, it also gets people to pay more attention to the teachers’in-service training research.Combined with the actual situation of D City, Jilin Province, through mastery of junior middle school chemistry teachers on-the-job training actuality and demand, analysis of the difference between the supply and demand of the in-service training of chemistry teachers in D city and the causes, on this basis, put forward some scientific and effective suggestions, providing help for the future D City junior middle school chemistry teachers on-the-job training work smoothly in order to, so that the teacher in-service training to science, health, the path of rapid development, improve the overall level of junior middle school chemistry teacher in D City, Jilin Province.The reasons of the difference between supply and demand of this study on the lifelong education theory, teachers’professional development and demand theory of as the theoretical support, in junior middle school chemistry teacher in D city of Jilin Province as the research sample, using literature method, questionnaire method, interview method, mainly studies the following:(1) D City junior middle school chemistry teacher in-service training supply situation; (2) D City junior middle school chemistry teacher in-service training needs; (3) difference exists between the supply and demand of D City junior middle school chemistry teachers on-the-job training; (4) the reason of the difference between the supply and demand of the in-service training of junior middle school chemistry teachers in D city.The conclusions are as follows:(1) the supply and demand of in-service training of junior middle school chemistry teachers in D City, there are some differences between the training content, training methods, training time, assessment and training person etc.Specific performance:junior middle school chemistry teachers in-service training has been mainly focused on the chemistry of professional knowledge, and training contents of junior middle school chemistry teachers need more skills, the teaching design of classroom teaching skills, teaching media skills training; existing training is mainly in the form of on-site seminars, and most of the teachers’ideal the training mode is off campus training time; in-service training of chemistry teachers in junior middle school is mainly concentrated in the winter and summer training; teachers hope the scattered arrangement in the daily teaching process, and the length of time to 3-7 days is appropriate; attendance is past the main training evaluation methods, however, teachers tend to complete the teaching design work, to show a festival public class; university educational researchers and experts are chemistry teachers in junior middle school in D city has participated in the training of the main training.But most teachers hope that a good teacher can take the role of the trainer. (2) the difference between the supply and demand of in-service training is caused by the teachers themselves, schools, training institutions and the administrative departments of education.According to the research conclusion, put forward the following suggestions:(1) teachers should pay attention to their own development; (2) school should pay attention to the growth of teachers; (3) training institutions should optimize training project; (4) education administrative departments should do a good job in macroeconomic control.
