Task-based teaching method is gradually rises in the 1980 s and developed a kind of teaching method, it promotes the task as the center, let the language learners by organizing and using the target language to complete the task, so as to achieve the dual combination of learning and using. Since 2001, when the English course standard after the task-based teaching method is put forward, this kind of teaching model widely welcomed by our country middle and primary school classroom soon. The teaching method to highlight the people-oriented teaching core, mainly task as the way of classroom teaching, students in the process of the teacher set the task to improve the learning initiative and language use and the ability to express. By collecting and organizing the existing literature found that some Chinese experts, scholars and front-line teachers on the theoretical research and empirical exploration, a large number of relevant books and journals are made public, but applying task-based teaching method specific to a particular language skills teaching research does not see more, especially in junior middle school English teaching oral English skills. Then, the feasibility of task-based teaching method used in junior middle school oral English teaching? In the form of a task can improve students’ oral English ability? How to effective implementation of task-based teaching in the classroom? Based on the above question discussion, constitute the starting point of this study.This study adopted literature method, investigation method and experimental method, this paper mainly discusses the task-based teaching model is applied to the teaching and learning of oral English in junior high school. The author first literature method to collect a large number of theory of task-based teaching method works, and refer to the task-based teaching method in the research status at home and abroad, and in the domestic research status of oral English teaching and English language testing research; This study also adopts the investigation method, through the way of questionnaire survey, understand 17 school teachers and on the degree of the task-based teaching method used in the classroom teaching methods, and the school’s 81 students in oral English learning attitude and its form of interest to the class. Through the knowledge of the basic situation of the school teachers and students, and aimed at problems to apply task-based teaching model in junior middle school English teaching, makes the corresponding implementation plan. In order to confirm the validity of these schemes, the author using into experimental study was carried out on the two experimental classes of students spoken English for a semester of the experiment. Research shows that:after the experiment students oral English test scores are significantly higher than before the trial, the task-based teaching method applied in junior middle school English teaching is feasible, and can improve the students’ English oral table expression, suggesting that task-based teaching mode compared with the traditional teaching mode to improve students’ oral English ability has more advantages. |
