Curriculum reform is strongly introduced over the whole country in recent years. According to the requirements of the curriculum reform, high school history teaching should pay more attention to students’ initiative, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students, make students involved in the classroom to the greatest extent, take the student as the main body and teacher as the leading factor. While the traditional high school history teaching focus on teachers as the embodiment of knowledge, teachers used to teach student to carry on the one-way knowledge infusion and the teaching of non-computer majors, cramming. This way of teaching make teachers as the main body, focusing on teachers’ pay. Teaching often ignore the time cost, greatly increased the burden of teachers’ teaching. Teachers spend a lot of energy to the state prepares for his lectures, and corrects students’ papers and tests, the results to make myself exhausted, the teaching while the effect is not satisfactory. Students, as the recipient of knowledge, are also accustomed to passive learning, rote, mechanical memory, knowledge in bits and pieces, chaos, especially when using knowledge in analyzing and solving problems, but also helpless, lack of flexibility and adaptability. Their major can’t reflects the practical function of education. Obviously, this way of teaching is not in conformity with the curriculum reform advocated by the independent inquiry and lead found educational reform requirement, also can’t adapt to the development trend of the teaching of the information age. Therefore we need the teacher to explore teaching methods in order to better achieve the goal of curriculum reform.Mind mapping is a method of radioactive and divergent thinking, is a kind of study way under the modern education system. Through mind mapping of radioactive thinking method, on the one hand can accelerate the accumulation of knowledge, information, on the other hand can make the knowledge, the information on the basis of the correlation between each other layered, classification management, make knowledge management and the use of more systematic and hierarchical, and thus increase the operational efficiency of the brain.Mind mapping in a distinctive and unique effective way to manage the entire range of the cerebral cortex skills-words, graphics, digital and logic, rhythm, color and space, improve the utilization rate of the brain. It can lighten the burden of teachers’teaching knowledge, effectively improve the students’ memory, especially for liberal arts courses has efficient practicability, exert students’ initiative, enhance the students’ creativity, at the same time, strengthen the interaction between teachers and students exchanges and cooperation, enhance the affection between teachers and students. This kind of thinking method was applied to high school history teaching is one of effective method to solve the malpractice of traditional acceptance teaching, and in the three years of high school history teaching career for the use of mind mapping has proved its superiority and practicability, the student is also rare to find a way of learning, can guide their use in all aspects of life.
