Mind mapping is a network diagram formed of many kinds of struct ure, thus as theme, node, line, color, image and so on, which also can store, organize, characterize and optimize of information from multidimensions, effectively stimulate the brain to think. Mind mapping is widely used in many fields, its application in the field of education, has gained more and more attention, researchers have gradually carried out the study of mind map teaching. This study proposes the teaching research of senior high school physics electromagnetism based on mind mapping, aims to mining the mind map in the teaching value, provide teachers with new teaching ideas, help teachers teach students to solve the problem of laws of electromagnetism, put forward the effective teaching design of electromagnetism laws with the mind map.This paper is mainly divided into the following parts. First, physics instruction theory research based on the Constructivism theory, brain science, the theory of multiple intelligence and knowledge visualization theory. Further research the definition, structure, classification, the difference of concept map, and introduce the method of drawing. Second,analysis the teaching function of mind mapping in physics teaching,analysis the knowledge characteristics and importance of electromagnetism laws of high school physics teaching; understanding ofthe mind map in the teaching value. Third,for example—“The force of magnetic field on the power wire”, study the teaching of electromagnetism laws of physics in senior high school based on mind mapping. Finally, analyze and summarize to propose effective teaching suggestions.
