"The teacher, proselytizes instructs dispels doubt." Teachers are the living part in teaching. Teachers are knowledge imparter, promoter students in development in an all-around way, and also the implementers of the reforms. High school history as a compulsory course, has its unique value of discipline. But as a "minor subjects", the disciplinary status and living conditions of teachers have little attention. This paper studies the survival status of Gaomi county high school history teacher. Based on "Maslow’s hierarchy of needs", analysis of county high school history teacher live needs which aspects are not met and analyze the reasons, and according to the reason to set up the corresponding measures, in order to change the existing situation of high school history teacher at the county level.The full text is divided into three parts:The first part "Gaomi county high school history teachers survival present situation investigation and the analysis of the results". The investigation is divided into two parts, the first part is a questionnaire, mainly involves basic situation, income and social status, working condition, professional development, physical health and amateur life five parts, a total of 52 design question. The second part is the interview, according to current situation of career planning, history, how to improve the professional quality and ideal life state, and the difference of city-level teachers in-depth understanding, try to this group have a more thorough understanding.The second part "Gaomi county high school history teachers survival present situation description and cause analysis". This section based on "Maslow’s hierarchy of needs ", will be the results of the survey on the demand of the survival and security needs, social needs (love and belonging needs), respect needs and self development needs described in five aspects, and analyzes the reasons behind the unmet needs.The third part "Gaomi county high school history teachers’ living condition improvement strategy". Improvement strategy is mainly based on the second part analysis the reasons, a targeted from the aspects of schools, teachers, the local government departments have feasibility Suggestions and opinions, improve county high school history teachers’ professional happiness.
