With the rapid development of information society, the further popularization of wireless communication equipment, the life of people gradually surrounded by electronic products, the life of fast rhythm makes people more willing to accept fast, efficient learning method and way of life, microblog, WeChat, tiny said "model" in electronic terminals, by the people learning to live by the product of a micro era gradually, the class as a new teaching method with the "micro age" arises at the historic moment, and increasingly attracted much attention in China. A large number of scholars to conduct the thorough research to the micro class, parts of the first to make a try, even and good results have been achieved.Based on micro geography lesson as the research object, this paper adopts the literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, interview method and practice method, based on the analysis of domestic and foreign literature studies, and for some students, a glimmer of teachers and students’ questionnaire interviews to explore the geography course aided, the application of the geography teaching. Through the analysis of the supporting role of micro concluded that geography lesson is beneficial to improve the efficiency of geography classroom teaching, make the geography teaching conform to the requirements of the development of modern information education, conform to the trend of the development of the new curriculum reform, promoting the ability of the geography teachers to raise the level of literacy and professional guarantee the dominant position of students in geography teaching, improve the students’ learning efficiency.Through the investigation and analysis of data, combined with regional geography, and so come to practice micro-geography lesson in learning to master the theory and the theory of the zone of proximal development is necessary on the basis of teaching applications feasible. From education, students and teachers in three geographic terms, for geography education is conducive to adapt to the new geography curriculum needs to construct an open geography course, in favor of information technology in teaching geography; For students, the micro-geography Lesson help meet students’ personal learning needs of diverse learning methods to achieve efficient use of learning time to improve learning efficiency; for teachers, the role of teachers in favor of the conversion, to establish a new relationship between teachers and students, and improve the professional level teaching efficiency. Therefore, the auxiliary micro lesson of geography teaching is necessary. On the feasibility, according to the survey the presence of three problems:a serious shortage of micro-geography lesson resources, lack of targeted micro lesson content. Second, the teacher’s production technology and limited equipment, hindered the further development of micro-lesson. Third, support micro-teaching platform is not wide enough, the micro-lesson students learn enough to understand.Aiming at the problems above, the combination with the middle school geography teaching practice put forward three rationalization proposal:the establishment of a lesson, increase the geographic resources to enhance the practicability of micro geography class. Second, the education department will increase support for micro class, organize professional training for the teachers using vacation time. Three or more in geography class of publicity, expansion of micro video support platform.
