Nowadays we have already stepped into the information age, and information technology has been integrated into the various fields of social life,as a huge driving force in the elementary education curriculum reform.Elementary education curriculum reform requires the combination with development of information technology the goal, content and implementation of curriculum, teaching methods and meanings are being updated and perfect.It clearly stated in"The ordinary senior geography curriculum standard (experimental draft)":cultivating the modern citizen’s necessary geographical quality. Connotation of geographical quality is widely, and geography information literacy is an important part of it. How the geography information literacy status quo of the current senior students? How to cultivate geography information literacy is one of the important problems the foundation education of senior geography curriculum reform faces now. so the study on present situation of senior geography information literacy and cultivation strategy is of great significance.This thesis is divided into six chapters.The first chapter:introduction. Mainly introduces the reason, the research significance, research review, research contents, research ideas, research methods and the innovation place of this research, etc.The second chapter:the definition of the core concept. Based on the existing literature consult, this paper defines the concept, constituent elements and characteristics of literacy, information literacy, geographic literacy, geography information literacy And on the basis of all above, analyzes the characteristic and components of geography information literacy and entitle the connotation of geography information literacy.The third chapter:geography information literacy training goal. Based on the summary of geography information literacy training requirements abroad and the requirements of the domestic senior geography information literacy training, after the corresponding of the five elements of geography information literacy and geography curriculum goals of three dimensions in course standard.and sum up the specific goal of cultivating senior geography information literacy.The fourth chapter:investigation and analysis of the senior geography information literacy status. By analysis the result of the questionnaire data statistics elaborates on the cultivation of senior geography information literacy; then probing the cause of the current senior students’weak geography information literacy. The present situation investigation and analysis of senior geography information literacy is the focus of this paper, and the joint point of geography information literacy teaching theory research and practice combining site, and as an essential part of the full text.The fifth chapter:geography information literacy training strategy. Based on the cultivation of senior geography information literacy status quo, put forward the strategies of the cultivation of senior geography information literacy. First, improve the ability of geography teacher’s information literacy education; Second, take full advantage of the superiority of the inquiry learning for cultivating geography information literacy; Finally, strengthen the integration of information technology and geography course.The sixth chapter: conclusion. Based on the summary of main conclusions and deficiency of this study,put forward the prospects of the research.
