Social Work Survey Research About Children’s Vocation At Community

As the arrival of the 20th century, new and fresh knowledge blend into every aspect of China with the increase of disseminated information coming from social media. At same time, more and more children from rural China moving to metropolitan cities and living at varieties of communities with their parents who are rural migrant workers in cities. Children like flowers, are hope of a country. They are one of the most important backup powers in booming a country’s prosperity and development, and one of the most necessaries human resource for a country when facing with issues of development in the future. With the deepening of the school curriculum reform and increasing voice for reducing of the student schoolwork burden, the burden of elementary school students’ homework has been decreased, instead, parents increasingly put academic burden on their children. In more recent years, numerous constantly social events about children safety issues on vacations has been dragged national wide attentions in China. In order to improve children’s life on vacation, it has become a priority problems to consider how we can provide to help children in each community have an enjoyable and meaningful holiday. Therefore, how to ensure urban community children have a positive, meaningful and safe holiday become important for social workers of practical field.This paper contains four parts, the author selected the J Community in Hefei as the survey site by using methods of questionnaire survey and interview and so on to make correlative investigation of children’s holiday life in present at the scope of the jurisdiction of the community. Based on its data and reasoning analysis, the author makes the analysis about the feasibility to social work intervene in the community’s children life. He suggests to obtain group work and case work as intervention methods to assist for improving and promoting community’s children holiday life quality in China.The first part is introduction. It’s a guide and a generalization of the whole article, which mainly includes the background and significance of the selected topic, literature reviews of domestic and overseas related academic articles, research ideas and the main investigation methods used in the study, as well as the main situation the survey site (J Community).The second part is based on the investigation about the children’s present holiday life at the survey site community, and make summarizes and analysis about the present situation, and further deepen analyze the reasons and causes of the present situation. It includes four parts, which are the content of the community children, interpersonal communication, the situation of accompanying parents, and security problems.The third part analyze the feasibility of social work intervene in the community children’s life from four angles. And it is mainly analyzed the social work intervene in the survey site of community children’ holiday life. It combined with the analysis of the present situation about children’s holiday in survey site, obtaining group work as main methods and case study as the secondary intervention method with the consideration of social workers’role.The forth part is mainly aimed to makes a reflection according to the effects about interventions, and comes up with suggestions about improving the current community children’ holiday life.It is necessary to intervene in the community children’holiday life by social work, via kinds of daily group activities to enrich the community children’spiritual life, fostering their physical and psychological well-beings. Moreover, it reduce the burden from parents to some extent, and comfort parents by ensure qualified children’s interpersonal communication, study schedule and safety issues. At the same time, it enrich the community’s work content and promote the society harmonious development.
