Since the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities and the reform of tuition system, the problem of poor students is increasingly highlighted. In the future, it is one of the ideas of financing work in colleges to further expand the education function of funding, and make great efforts into ”shudeliren ”. This article discusses college students funded education function, in order to improve university students’ abilities of funding for education.This paper always revolves around the education function of funding in colleges and universities. In the introduction, it summarizes the research background and the significance of the education function of funding in colleges and universities, and makes a comprehensive comb about the present research at home and abroad. The second part of this paper firstly analyses the theory of education function of funding on the basis of the theory of human needs and the theory of human’s all-round development. It also analyses the significance of the research on the basis of the education fair, poor students’ growth and development. The third part of this paper, on the premise of clearly comprehending about the connotation of funding in colleges and universities and its education function, it summarizes the concrete manifestation in education function of funding for college students, which lead the college students’ thoughts, guide students’ psychology, stimulate students’ emotion, shape the character of college students, and improve the quality and ability of college students.
