In the contemporary society, the development of a country and society depends on the talent and the cultivation of talents is the key to the development of a country’s future strategy. In the middle school education, the private education occupies a very important position, and the quality of the teachers in the private middle school directly determines the quality of education, how to improve the quality of teachers, improve the quality of teachers, and promote the improvement of teaching level is a very important issue. From the perspective of school management, through the implementation of scientific performance management and assessment measures, can effectively stimulate and promote the improvement of teachers’ quality and performance, so as to promote the improvement of teaching quality.The managers of Shanghai A private schools have recognized this problem, and established the special human resources department in 2014, and plan to reform the performance evaluation system, and then improve the level of compensation management. But through the observation of the new performance evaluation system, the author found that the school administrators did not take into account the characteristics of the school itself and the specific circumstances of the teachers. In addition, the performance evaluation of the progress is not smooth, some teachers on the new performance appraisal system is generally inconsistent, most of the project performance evaluation is not scheduled to complete.According to the above situation, this paper carries on the research on the performance evaluation of the teachers in Shanghai A, so as to draw the successful experience of other enterprises in the performance management, and combine the successful experience of other enterprises, and combine the characteristics of the private secondary school in Shanghai to improve the performance evaluation system of A private school in Shanghai.
