As life is developing tremendously nowadays, composition teaching in middle school should follow steps of the society, and bring in the concept of human characterisc-based education incompositionteaching. Composition teaching is a system-level project, and the improvement of students’ writing abilityindicates their comprehensive competence of Chinese. Thus, Chinese teachers shouldaware their leading affect, increase the efficiency in teaching, and cultivate students’ interest and ability of writing. The new material composition can cultivate students’ innovation ability, avoidplagiarism to the largest extend, and is conducive to achieving educational equality.This paper follows the teaching concept in the new course standard, and researches deeply into the theory and practice of new material composition for high school students. The current problemof high school students’ new material composition, along with the reason behind it, is analyzed through a lot of investigation. Both the students’ side and the teachers’ side are considered in the analysis. Finally, the method for solving the high school students’ writing problem and the strategyof highly efficient compositiong teaching are listed in this paper.
