Using Strengths Perspectives In Deaf People Social Integration

Disabled social support programs are listed as key projects, which for many people with disabilities,including the deaf,taking part in social life offers more possibilities and opportunities.Compared with the traditional single type of assistive relief ideas, professional social work services focus on nurturing the idea of helping others, stressing the potential integration of resources and meeting the diverse needs.Social workers have a unique advantage in establishing a professional relationship with the deaf, improving the ability of social participation, and rebuilding of social acceptance system and so on. Professionalism and high efficiency of social work make more and more people recognize and love it. It is be introduced to the rehabilitation process of persons with disabilities in vulnerable groups.The particularity of deaf people services a higher requirements to social work, they are eager to enjoy social dignity and equal citizenship treatment, but they are facing social marginalization continue.Facts have proved that: with the unique advantage perspective, social workers dig the strengths and potential, weak the fixed-traditional thinking of "the deaf is weak", establish the good quality of self-reliance, make efforts to labor becoming the goal in life, and win the recognition and respect of society ultimately.
