Despite the teaching about the sense of text is relatively perfect. But because of hard operation in the practical teaching, Chinese educators and researchers began to pay more attention to the experience and study on the teaching about the sense of text, while treat it as important as the sense of language, and think they both are the cores in the Chinese teaching.The sense of text refers to the students’ ability of an overall grasp and comprehension about the text. It includes the sense of using words; the meaning and the sense of the text; the sense of text skills; the sense of the structures of the text; the sense of overall acknowledge of the text; the sense of the type of the text and so on. And they all with the characters of macroscopic, integrity, individuality, accumulation, stability and so on.The sense of text can be divided into comprehension sense and expression sense through the reading process and the writing process. comprehension sense of the text a kind of inductive thinking process; while expression sense of text is a deductive thinking process. we can select the type of text, focus on students’ autonomous reading, guide the students to get the overall perception of text, summarize the text analysis, advocate students to recite the samples text and pay more attention to students’ writing practice to get the sense of text. although The sense of text and the sense of language both have the character of integrity, they all need to understand the whole sentence and text, but different in the psychological mechanism, the formation of perceptual object and the time of formation. The sense of text is inclined to the whole perception and judgment of the text article to grasp the meaning; while the sense of language sense is inclined to the word and sentence, mainly on the intuition of characters, words, sentences and the grasp of grammar. The formation about the sense of text is after the sense of language, because the learning about the sense of language is the foundation. The sense of text is different from the text pattern, structure mode. The text pattern focus on the formation of the text, the sense of the text is not only includes the type of text, but also the contents of the text; structure mode stresses on the structure of the text and the content arrangements, while the sense of text concerns not only more about the construction, but also the grasping of the style, language and theme of the entire text etc. The sense of text includes the grasp of text pattern and structure mode, the sense of text and the sense of language are both different, but correlative. they are the cores in Chinese teaching.We advocate the teaching about the sense of text means the unity of teaching about the sense of text and the sense of language; the unity of teaching about the sense of text and the appreciation of the text; the unity of teaching about the sense of text and writing; the unity of teaching about the sense of text and the training of thinking. The goal is to enhance students’ ability of overall grasp of the text, raise their appreciation feeling, improve their writing skills, cultivate their overall quality of the Chinese. The teaching about the sense of text must follows the principle of subjectivity; the principle of taking students as priority; the principle of feeling; the principle of overall sentiment; principle of practicing; the principle of accumulation and creation; the principle of logic; the principle of intelligent training; the principle of ideology; the principle of unity of text and knowledge. The teaching about the sense of text must pay attention to select text type to get a cognitive literary sense; must pay attention to the students’ autonomous reading to perceive the sense; must pay attention to advocate the whole grasp of text to get sense; must pay attention to analysis the text patterns to understand the sense; must pay attention to promote the students to recite the samples to internalize of the sense; must pay attention to students’ writing practice to strengthen the sense.The sense of text or the teaching and study about the sense of text are both significant to the study and teaching. It can improve the conception of Chinese teaching, optimize classroom teaching quality and improve students’ Chinese accomplishment.
