Not anyone can replace the status of teachers in the role of education, regardlessof any syllabus, charters of school, school organization, they can not replace the roleof teachers in education, so that everything about the teachers are closely related tothe success or failure of education. Therefore, this paper put the problems that therural teachers encountered at their work and life time as the importanttarget duringthis period. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, this paper will bediscussed in three parts, namely the introduction, the body and the conclusion.The first part is the first chapter, introduceing the significance of the topicselection of this paper, current research about domestic and foreign, research methodsand writing ideas, the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.The second part is the text, and also the focus of the writing of this paper,including the second, the third, the fourth,the fifth and the sixth chapter, the secondchapter introduces the general situation of the russian rural education during the latenineteenth century to the early twentieth century,the third chapter introducing thebasic situation of teachers in rural areas including the sources ofeachers, the trainingof teachers,the feminization of teachers profession and the "thinkthat women are inferior to men" phenomenon. The ourth chapter,from describing theteachers working environment,working tasks,salary status,teachers training, theirpart-time job,marital and family status of teachers,meals and accommodation ofteachers and other aspects,making an conclusion that the situation of teachers’survival is serious, rural teachers draw into a grim material life and live a spiritualdeprivation of life.The fifrth chapter,from the attitude of the people surrounding therural teachers, to explain the social status of rural teachers. Pointed out that therural teachers suffered the crowding from thc farmers, the rural elites,the leaders and others,living in a politically powerless position. In order to change their miserycircumstances,they take an activity part in social activities. During the World WarI, the rural teachers demonstrated a high degree of social responsibility, has beenrecognized by the whole community.The fifth chapter describes the rural teacherswork tirelessly to Influence the rural society and national education.The third part is the conclusion, Conclusion points out that while retaining themore authoritarian remnants of the Imperial Russian period, vocational education andsocial functions played by rural teachers is very limited, only after the OctoberSocialist Revolution cleared the remnants of feudalism, rural teachers can truly ruraleducation in the field shine.
