In order to deepen the education reform and train a group of excellent teachers for basiceducation, China implemented the policy of free education for students majoring ineducation in normal universities in2007. In July2011, the first batch of those studentsgraduated and worked as teachers in the basic education field where their advantages weredisplayed, which represents the success of college and university education, while theirshortcomings are a reflection of its weakness, which needs improving. All these providecriteria of evaluating the teaching ability of free normal school students.
