Under the background of the New Curriculum Reform, this thesis proposes the necessity of constructing the efficient geography class for Grade Seven according to some current problems in Grade Seven geography classroom, what’s more, this paper also proposes for the research status of the current research vacancies. Through Literature analysis and case analysis, this article carries out a further detailed analysis of characteristics of geography classes and PEP geography textbooks for Grade Seven. Practice Lack of theoretical support is blind practice, also theory without practice is empty theory, therefore, any kind of theory into practice needs some theoretical foundations. This article summarizes the theoretical basis based on the constructions of efficient geography class for Grade Seven and personal teaching experience as well as the relevant literature,. The main body of this thesis is focus on the construction process and effective teaching methods of efficient geography classroom, besides, some application cases are cited as examples in the efficient teaching part. This paper demonstrates the necessity to build efficient geography class and the implementation of the strategy in many ways, the case analysis part is plausible and detailed. The purpose of this thesis is to improve the current teaching situation and build the real effective geography classroom for Grade Seven through the joint efforts of our geographical educators.
