With the rapid development of Internet technology, mobile devices become more and more popular. It enables breakthrough education space restrictions are available at any place. Especially, Online education has been Internet business boom in recently years:attracting much attention on its big market and more opportunity with involvement of all capital. Under this condition, A company was officially formed in2013, it focus on the online market segments of working people in postgraduate entrance examination。Because the online industry is in the early stage, facing the complex market competition, A company must make efforts to enhance its core competitiveness to ensure that occupy a space in the fierce market competition.In this paper, by using the theories of competitive strategy of A company strategy, it firstly analyzes the external macro environment analysis and the industry competition environment of A company, A company has summed up the government good policy support and social cultural background support, development prospects of the industry is optimistic, but also facing increasing competition pressure; through the analysis of A company’s internal environment, the author finds out its advantages and disadvantages. By using the SWOT matrix, it highly generalize A company’s advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges. Then, combining with the online education characteristics and A company’s positioning strategy, this thesis put forward that A company should combine the differential strategy and competitive strategy, focus on the positioning in the working group and provide personalized and differentiated services, then puts forward four strategic measures:build an international vision, innovation, professional and pragmatic corporate culture, strengthen the training with the development of human resources, strengthen technical innovation, make innovation in in product and service.The purpose of this paper is on the research on competitive strategy of A online education company, and gradually explore the domestic online education development road, has certain reference significance to the development of other domestic online education company.
