With the continuous development of economy, the structure of professional talents changes, our county attaches great importance to the development of vocational education. Vocational education is an important part in national education career; its success impacts the progress of the education career directly. and the teaching quality of vocational education is the vitality of the existence and development of the vocational school. Mathematics is an important foundation course of a vocational high school, which is not only to cultivate the students’ ideological and cultural quality, but also to other professional courses of study. Therefore, from mathematics teaching present situation of vocational high school, combining with the actual situation in our school, and on this basis, using the theory of pedagogy, psychology to analyze, under the guidance of the life-long education thought to find out the suitable mathematics teaching methods and strategies for vocational high school, and be studied using in the teaching practice, dealing with the confusion in our own teaching,at the same time, also hope can work for vocational high school mathematics teacher’s teaching and provide some references to related research.This article embarks from the problem and research significance, for breach of the teaching method and the starting point, looking for strategies to improve the quality of mathematics teaching in our school, and aiming at the problems now in the high school mathematics teaching and the future development put forward their own opinions and suggestions, and then spread to other vocational high school’s mathematics teaching. Complete the following work in a specific way:1. Carry on educational present condition and mathematics of the vocational high school to elaborate in brief, and carry on the analysis to some problems face in the mathematics teaching of the occupation high school.2. In combination with the practical situation of our school is suitable for the students in our school mathematics teaching strategy is given.This part of contents is the center of the article, is also a textual and end writing purpose.3. On the basis of the theoretical basis to teaching experiment, verify the feasibility of the proposed teaching strategy, practicability, draw the conclusion.
