Mathematical epistemological beliefs and mathematical learning strategies are two important factors that affect students' mathematics learning. This paper compiles senior high school students' mathematics cognition and belief questionnaire and mathematics learning strategy questionnaire for high school students. We also investigate the influence of mathematical epistemological beliefs and mathematical mathematics learning strategies on students' academic achievement.Research conclusion:(1)The high school students' belief in mathematics has a higher overall level, and presents a downward trend with the increase of grade. The differences in grade, sex and achievement are obviously different.(2)The mathematics learning strategy of high school students is in the middle level. With the increase of grade, the level of strategy gradually decreases, and there is a positive correlation with the level of achievement. There is no significant gender difference.(3)There is a significant correlation between mathematical cognitive beliefs and mathematical learning strategies.Through regression analysis, mathematical cognitive beliefs have a predictive effect on mathematical learning strategies and vice versa.(4)Mathematical epistemological beliefs and mathematical learning strategies predict mathematics achievement.(5)This paper analyses the influence mechanism of cognitive beliefs and learning strategies on students' academic achievement, and puts forward some teaching suggestions based on the results of the investigation.
