The rapid development of the next generation of information technology promoted education reform, and the core of the reform is the innovation of teaching mode. The knowledge transfer model of teaching scheduled learning gradually became student-centered and personalized teaching mode, promoting the emergence and development of flipped classroom. Flipped classroom is the classroom that inverts traditional model, and it can realize the front of knowledge teaching and the deepening of knowledge internalization. As a result, it can promote students’ learning interest and realize the personalized teaching.In this study, it adopted literature research, questionnaire and action research method. The study started from practical problems of practical operation curriculum, and it was based on the existing theories which were constructivism theory, mastery learning theory, activity theory, learning pyramids theory, Lorry rand’s students learning model and ARCS motivation model. Basing on the advantages and disadvantages of existing flipped teaching model at home and abroad, we constructed the flipped teaching model of applying to practical operation curriculum, and we designed the teaching from four aspects which were resource designing, pre-class activities designing, classroom activities and the evaluation mechanism designing. Then we conducted empirical research based on pre-designed instructional design. Adopting formative assessment, the study inquired into the experimental results according to the effect of pre-class activities, the effect of classroom activities, exchange and communication situation and student learning outcomes. Results showed that the flipped teaching of applying to practical operation curriculum to a great extent can improve the classroom participation, improve the students’ interest in learning and improve practical operation ability. Hope the study can provide some reference value to related research about flipped classroom to some extent.
