In recent years, as our country’s emphasis on higher education, the amount of student admitted to universities has been growing rapidly; so many students have the chance to continue their further study.Now the post-90 s generation that has attracted much attention from society entered the campus. Most of them are the only child, they live in a different kind of environment and are the focus of the family. Those who has entered the campus put too much emphasis on learning before and lack of experience of college life would face various problems, which cause them could not adapt easily to new circumstances. College is a period from adolescence to adulthood, it is also a period from campus to the community.whether the students adapt to the college life or not would not only affects social adaptation of their study and life on campus, but also affect their life and work in the future. Therefore, keeping mental health by improving the ability to adapt to college life and self-acceptance is very necessary.The study is divided into two parts: the first is a study of freshman self-acceptance and the college adjustment, and we also explore the relationship between the two topics in this part. The second part is an intervention through which enhance the level of self-acceptance to enhance their level of ability to adapt to college life. Conclusions are summarized as follows:First, self-acceptance research findings indicate as following : Self-acceptance of freshmen has significant differences in gender, profession, and whether play a role or not. Secondly, the research of college adjustment shows the following two points: The ability of college adjustment has significant differences in gender and whether play a role or not. Thirdly,self-acceptance and school adjustment results indicate that self-acceptance was significantly and positively correlated with the ability of college adjustment. Self-acceptance is an important role for school adjustment. Finally, intervention study shows that through group intervention, the self-acceptance level of team members has been significantly improved, and the ability of college adjustment were significantly increased. The differences of score between before and after the intervention reached a significant level. It indicates the study of group intervention is effective.
