Research On Ideological And Political Education In University From The Perspective Of Network Public Opinion

Chairman Xi Jingping made an important speech in the National Conference on Publicity and Ideological Work, he stressed it is necessary for us to take online propaganda and ideological work as the most important task as far as China’s current situation is concerned. Besides, Chairman Xi Jingping made new requirements as well as deployment on how to accomplish this task. The Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC also proposed "sticking to correct guidance, improving boot capacity", "singing the theme online" and other strategic tasks. These are the guidelines for us to do good job concerning network information, network public opinion and ideological and political education work in the new situation.This paper reviews current research on network public opinion of the ideological and political education home and abroad, conduct research on domestic and international experience in this field, and describes characteristics of network public opinion of the ideological and political education. In adhering to socialist core values presented by the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC and the spirit of Xi Jinping’s important speech on National Conference on Ideological Work, This paper conducted practical research and in hence carries out the following analysis: in the first place, it analyzes the dual impacts(including positive as well as negative impacts) of network public opinion on the ideological and political education; in the second place, it describes five challenges and five problems based on the new situation confronted by network of public opinion; thirdly, it puts forward feasible suggestions for improving the result of ideological and political education work, which opens up new areas for ideological and political education. As a result, this paper has some theoretical and practical significance.
