Study On The Cooperation Between Universities And High-tech Zones In The Perspective Of Proximity

As the combination of higher education, scientific research and economic development, high-tech zone is an important and effective way to promote the high-tech and drive the development of industry. The special resource advantages of the universities make them to be closely linked with the construction of high-tech zone. Silicon Valley as the first high-tech zone, its growth and development has an important relationship with Stanford University, the same to Cambridge Science Park and Cambridge. Cooperation of universities and high-tech zones can be achieved on a complementary function. The process of cooperation between universities and high-tech zone is an innovation as the salient features of the academic process of industrial activity. High-tech zone can provide platform for the transformation of scientific research achievements in universities. This can accelerate the industrialization of innovation achievements, so as to improve the efficiency of innovation.The relationship between proximity and innovation as an important issue of the Innovation Economics and Economic Geography has always been the concern of scholars. The initial proximity only represents geographical proximity. With the rapid development of information and technology, the economic environment has change. Scholars believe that the role of geographical proximity in innovation can not be isolated to study, but should be combined with other dimensions of proximity. Due to the proximity will affect innovation, so will have impact on the collaboration of universities and high-tech zones. In this paper, the relationship between spatial proximity and innovation efficiency in proximity perspective has discussed. Author hopes enrich the connotation of proximity theoretical and practical value, and cooperation between universities and high-tech zones deepening benefit in China.The full text is divided into six chapters, as follows:The first chapter, mainly on the research background, significance, innovation and methods, explain the concepts involved in the paper. The second chapter, Reviews of universities and high-tech zones of cooperation. Domestic and international cooperation in universities and high-tech zones provide a theoretical basis for the research. The third chapter, studies the influence mechanism on proximity to cooperation of universities and high-tech zones. Due to the concept of proximity, author divides the proximity into geographical proximity, cognitive proximity, social proximity and organizational proximity, and analysis the cooperation of the universities and high-tech zones. The fourth chapter in the proximity perspective on cooperation in Silicon Valley and Cambridge Science Park and University analyzed, cooperative cognitive proximity, organizational proximity and social proximity between Silicon Valley and Cambridge Science Park and the surrounding colleges and geographic proximity have played a role in achieving the spatial proximity of innovation cooperation in promoting the role of universities and high-tech zone of cooperation provided for reference. The fifth chapter in the Zhangjiang High-tech Zone and Zizhu our example, the analysis of high-tech zones in cooperation with universities in the proximity effect, draw basic conclusions and make suggestions. Chapter VI summarizes the relevant conclusions, and the prospect of the future direction of depth study.This paper shows that the cooperation of universities and high-tech zones, the cognitive proximity provide the basis for them. It is a necessary. The effect of cognitive proximity, social proximity and organizational proximity will promote the function of the spatial proximity to innovation efficiency. The lack of cognitive proximity, social proximity and organizational proximity will not be conducive to promoting effect on the spatial proximity of innovation cooperation. Zhangjiang High-tech Zone and Zizhu High-tech Zone in cooperation with the surrounding universities should strengthen cognitive proximity, organizational proximity and social proximity. Only in this way, the real effect of the adjacent space to promote innovation cooperation can be implementation.
