With the development of socialist rule of law modernization in our country, the fourth plenary session of the Party’s 18 passed “the central committee of the communist party of China on promoting the rule of law certain major issue decision”, which requires to enhance the awareness of the law constantly, further promote the construction of the socialist rule of law. It also requires that undergo more legal education, let more people follow the law and make the whole society establish the awareness of law. Under the new situation, it is an important way to strengthen and enhance the legal education to improve college students’ law awareness, which is also one of key points to promote the rule of law. However, at present, no effectiveness of college legal education and low results of legal education become influence socialist rule of law seriously. Therefore, we must strengthen effectiveness studies on the legal education in colleges and universities in order to improve college students’ legal quality, enhance college students’ legal concepts and promote the rule of law as deep as possible.In the legal society, we must all observe the law which is the rule for everyone. Under the urgent request of promoting the rule of law, we strengthen and improve the legal education in colleges and universities. At the same time, we should improve the effectiveness of legal education. Needless to say, it is an issue of “fresh” and different researchers have different aspects and focuses on legal education in colleges and universities. In this article, the author analyses the validity conditions of legal education on theoretical aspect and try to give a theoretical basis for the legal education in colleges and universities combined with the analysis of legal education. In addition, based on the reality of legal education in colleges and universities, the author analyses each aspect of college legal effectiveness, explore more effective means and give an effective evaluation standard about scientific construction of legal education in colleges and universities from the elements, process and results of legal education. Therefore, based on the theoretical evaluation of college legal education, from the aspect of the reality of legal education in colleges and universities, with the empirical studies, combined with investigation and analysis of the results, the author promotes some effective countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the colleges’ legal education.Combining the theory of systemic analysis and in-depth related research, we can come to some following conclusions based on the research results: firstly, in the college legal education, the effectiveness of legal education and each link, especially the “elements” “process” and “results” are all important factors influencing the legal education activities; secondly, only analyse effectively from the order of the actual legal education activities, from the educator, education object, education objective, education content, education method, education situation in six aspects, from the education process of inner structure of the college legal education, from the results of college legal education, the satisfaction of the individual and society to meet the validity of the analysis results, and the reality of the legal education, can we make corresponding measures to further enhance the effectiveness of the legal education in colleges and universities.
