The course "Ideology and Morality Cultivation and Legal Rudiments" (hereinafter referred to as the "basic course") as a freshman enrolled the first door on the ideology and politics theory courses,to guide students to set up the correct values and improve students' ability to analyze and solve problems, to university students adapt to college life as soon as possible, correctly handle interpersonal relationships, and their moral, intellectual, physical, and all-round development of beauty which is very important to help. Relative to other ideology and politics theory courses, the "basic courses" is closer to the practice of students study and life,which would be more popular with the students. However, the current teaching of "basic course" wasn't satisfying. Although many experts and scholars did research on how to improve the teaching effectiveness of the "basic course", but the teaching of "basic course" is still faced with the embarrassing situation in the teaching effectiveness. With the embarrassing status, the article on the basis of full research of relevant literature, on the present situation investigation of the Sichuan agricultural university "basic course" teaching effectiveness, analyzes the problems and reasons in the teaching of "basic course" systematically, and some specific measures have been put forward.The full text is divided into five parts:Firstly:introduction. One by one, The reason and significance of this topic,the relevant domestic research present situation and the trend of "basic course" and the research objectives, research contents and methods.Secondly:the related overview about "basic course". This part first elaborated the connotation of the "basic course" teaching effectiveness, point out the evaluation standard of teaching effectiveness, and points out that the "basic course" course characteristics and necessity of the courses, laid a theoretical foundation for the article further discussed.Thirdly: "basic courses" teaching effectiveness status investigation and problem analysis. This part from the "basic courses" teaching achievements and the problems existing in the two aspects of the course teaching present situation has made a comprehensive analysis. While affirming the achievements of "basic course", also points out that the "basic course" in the educate, educator, teaching contents, teaching methods and the way of the evaluation problems in five aspects.Fourthly:the analysis of the causes' "basic course" teaching problems. This part from the students, teachers, teaching contents, teaching methods and the way of the evaluation aspects affecting the cause of the "basic course" teaching effectiveness are analyzed.Finally:for improving the "basic course" teaching effectiveness. We put forward the problems existing in the teaching of "basic course" in the section, on the basis of the analysis of causes of problems, from stimulating students interest in learning, to strengthen the construction of teachers, improve the class teaching content, innovation teaching methods, reform examination mode to put forward the corresponding countermeasures. This section is this article's logical destination, which is also the embodiment of the value in the article.
