With the industrialization and urbanization since1980s, left-behind children come into being. In recent years, migrant workers in increasing numbers to go to city and result in the number of left-behind children of early childhood education grows rapidly. The early childhood education of the Left-behind has become a hot issue concerned by nation and society. However, due to lack of funds and resources, poor qualified teachers, and others, early childhood education in rural areas can not meet the demand of left-behind children family. Parents’demand is the basis of the work in kindergarten. The questions what the needs of left-behind children parents are for early childhood education and the differences of those needs, are the premise of "making people satisfied education".The author made the questionnaire about the demands of the patents of left-behind children for early childhood education and the interview outline of parents of non-admission left-behind children by self through combing related literature about disadvantaged and left behind children, educational demand and choices, and considering the characteristics of parents of left-behind children in rural areas. In order to deep understand parents’demands for convenience, conservation needs, demands of teachers, demands of environment and equipment in Kindergarten and child development demand, the author selected some rural areas in F city of Hennan province as case study, then issued and regained60questionnaires, and the same time interviewed60parents of left-behind children whose ages were beyond3years old but had not sent into the kindergartens,. The study showed that the average score of parents of Left-behind children demand for early childhood education is more than3.9points standing for a strong demand, and the degree of preschool education satisfaction is about3.1points which was not high. The order of the parents’ attention degree for early childhood education was:conservation needs, demands of teachers, child development demand, convenience demands and demands of environment and equipment in Kindergarten. Building a public service system covering urban and rural areas, and ensuring basic quality of early childhood education are the key of satisfying increasing parents’ demands. The state should increase the government support for rural preschool education. The key to vigorously develop the public kindergarten is to meet the growing demand of the parents.According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, parents’demands stayed at the bottom which belonged to the survival demand. Solving the most concerned issues including the children’eating, drinking, sleeping, and security issues was the first thing to meet the survival needs of parents. It is also suggested that the Government should regulate the administration of private kindergartens to reach the basic standard of conservation. Kindergartens should improve own quality to do a good job of routine conservation work, and make full use of rural resources to set up scientific curriculum system. The government should establish the strictly preschool teacher access system and improve the quality of teachers.Parents fell into demand traps, which they paid more attention to children’s short-term growth and physical needs, but ignored the development of children and spirit needs in future. Consequently, the kindergarten should rational treat parents’ demand, build their scientific idea to guide the parents, and contact parents frequently to communicate scientific and rational parenting philosophy.Affected by several factors, such as parent identity, age, education level, and family economic conditions, there are significant differences among different groups. Therefore, providing diversified services and education is for different backgrounds.Different ideas of parents of left-behind children directly affected their educational demands. Parents should update their concepts of education to keep pace with the times and abandon the old educational methods. The great influence of the rural living environment for the demands of parents of left-behind children should never be neglected. Rural gambling, building houses and the idea of "knowledge is useless " had a negative impact on the parents of left-behind children, which reducing educational expectation, educational demands, and the importance degree of parents of left-behind children for early childhood education in rural areas. So building civilized local custom is imperative.
