In recent years,Existing literature shows that the problem of rural left-behind children’s parents expecting their children’s academic performance is a practical issue that cannot be ignored in the development of rural education in my country.What expectations do the parents of left-behind children in rural areas have for their studies.Do you want your child’s homework to be completed on time.Do you want your child to get good test scores.Do you want your child to attend high school or college.Investigating the educational expectations of parents of left-behind children in rural areas can help find out the real causes of rural education problems.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the phenomenon that parents of left-behind children in rural areas expect their children to learn.We must accelerate the speed of solving problems,improve the health of children,work for parents with peace of mind,and stabilize society.Taking a township primary school in Muchuan County of Leshan City as Leshan City.270 valid questionnaires were collected.The main purpose of this study is to understand the parents’ expectations for their children’s performance,parents’ expectations for their children’s homework,parents’ expectations for their children’s homework,parents’ expectations for their future academic development.The interview method mainly through the investigation of all the parents in a certain class of a township primary school in Muchuan County,Leshan City,in-depth interviews with some parents,showing the different expectations of the rural left behind children’s families for their children’s studies.Through the analysis of my investigation records,it is found that the academic expectations of rural left behind children’s parents include:(1)parents’ expectations of their children’s achievements(2)Parents’ expectation of their children’s homework(3)Parents’ expectation of children’s learning quality(4)Parents’ expectation of their children’s future academic development.50% of the left behind children’s parents expect their children’s test results;Half of the parents didn’t expect their children to finish their homework on time;More than half of the parents do not expect their children to finish their homework according to the quality;50% of parents didn’t expect their children’s interest in learning;Only 33% of left behind children’s parents have expectations for their children to enter high school in the future;60% of parents are not looking forward to their children’s entrance to university in the future.Secondly,from(1)family factors of left behind children(2)School factors(3)The relationship between family and school(4)This paper analyzes the influencing factors of parents’ academic expectations from four aspects of social factors.Finally,this study combines the analysis of the problems existing in the children’s expectations of the rural abandoned parents’ children’s academic expectations.It is a study of the rural children’s parents’ academic expectations of their children and reflects the expectations of their parents.Expectations for left-behind children;(2)Actively improve parents’ education methods.(3)Promote the self-growth of parents.(4)Establish a flexible and effective home-school cooperation mechanism.
