Leading-in method is the significant part of classroom teaching, andinitial link of whole teaching process, thus it plays an important role. Thedesign of leading-in affect the classroom teaching, to a certain extent. Atthe present stage, there are many phenomena which neglect the leading-inpart in ideological and moral course teaching. Although the leading-inpart takes3-5minutes, it is the vital method which can draw students’attention, and raise their learning interests. Therefore, how to apply theleading-in method in ideological and moral course teaching is worthwhileto research. This thesis aims to research the application of leading-inmethod in ideological and moral course teaching.Firstly, through consulting the related researches and interviewrecord of teachers and students in Monglolian middle school of UradFront Banner the researcher distiguishes the definition between leading-inand leading-in method, and on this basis, the important roles of leading-inmethod are concluded, including to draw students’ attention and inspiretheir learning motivation, to attract their attention to ideological andmoral course, to pave the way to new knowledge, to clarify learning goals,to narrow the gap between teachers and students, to enlighten students’thought.What’smore, by analysing the present state of leading-in methodapplication in ideological and moral course classroom teaching, theresearch finds out that a few problems exist in ideological and moralcourse teaching. For example, many teachers are less aware of theleaing-in method, and they have low requirement about this course; Andstudents donnot pay attention just at the beginning of class, also pay less attention to leading-in part, and even they consider that ideological andmoral course is boring theory course.This thesis combines teaching practice and common leading-inmethods such as direct leading-in and story-guiding method to conductthe case study. Lastly, according to the problems and case study analysis,the thesis summarizes some important points for attention in ideologicaland moral education teaching. In the process of leading-in, teachersshould follow the principles of leading-in method. Before the class, theabundance references would be read, meanwhile teachers should flexiblyuse teaching materials, also make effort to lead the students, and be wareof dependent role of students for improvement of professional ethics andwork experience. In this thesis, the important points of leading-in methodis well presented. And it also provides valuable suggestions for leading-inmethod in ideological and moral education teaching.
