The world has developing in the fastest speed of this period. The progress of science and technologyare changed rapidly. Competition of talent becomes increasingly fierce. National power competition equalto competition of the talents, who can cultivate more talents, will be able to gain a footprint on the worldstage. Chinese future development, the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the key depends on talentsespecially science and technology elite. Teaching more elites in science and technology in education,especially basic education for students based on scientific knowledge and basic skills. This is thefundamental approach to elevate our national scientific literacy. The quality of the current scientificeducation determines the future of scientific literacy of all citizens. Therefore, The remarkable approacheshave the important practical significance to primary school science education.Science education based on the "renewing the country through science and education", and "scienceand technology is the first productivity" as the development direction. On the basis of "primary schoolscience education curriculum standards" and the western countries advanced scientific education andteaching methods, in primary school science education problems as the main line, using the concept ofscientific technology education, science education and technology education, the unique characteristics ofscience education. Using a large amount of survey data,interview with headmaster,classroom observationmethods to elaborate the existing problems in science education in primary school in China in nowadays.For example the set of the course, distribution of the class time, the status of course, teaching methods, thequality of the science teacher group. Then discussed the ways that how to solve these problems effectively.This thesis constitute of four parts. The first part is the introduction.The innovation and the researchmethods mainly include the origin of this research, domestic and foreign research present situation,research meaning. The second part is discussing the meaning of this thesis theoretical basis of primaryschool science education, defines the concept of science education, science and technology education, Bycomparison two concepts, explains the features of science education. The third part using the survey dataillustrates the achievements and problems in science education of primary school in present situation inChina. According to problems, analysis of the reasons of them. This is the most import part of this research.The fourth part in view of the current primary school science education problems in our country, pose measures and methods to improve primary school science educational effects in china. The writer thinksthat we should create the environment of science education, science education transformation. Forth aspectto improve science education methods to improve and strengthen the steady development of scienceeducation in China.This study adopts literature, questionnaire survey method, interview method,observation method, in different regions, different levels of primary school. Making500questionnaires forstudents in primary, for50questionnaires for science education teachers, deeply talk with principals10times. According to the school the actual situation in the region, prefecture level cities, county-level city,the township, and village of four representative areas as an object of investigation. These survey data aretrue, effective, and representative.They can reveal the common or different problems about scienceeducation in primary school between the same areas and different regions.
