In today’s complex and dynamic business environment, Researchers have recognized task conflict as a core interactional property that significantly influences job satisfication.Organization expects team members to cooperate with each other, and share information. However,teams are given more autonomy and responsibility,creative controversy concerning task accomplishment becomes possible. On the other hand, conflict of interests between team members becomes more likely. Managers who want to enhance collaboration are advised to accept the inevitability of conflict.Theories suggest that conflict may have positive effects, but the positive effects of conflict have been very complex.In the ordinary way, employees who engage in task conflict feel anger, and frustration and are more guilt with their. However researchs suggest that the presence of negative emotions does not mean the absence of positive emotions. Drawing on affective events theory, we develop and test hypotheses about the effects of task conflict on positive emotions and job satisfaction.However, in the task conflict, positive emotion is not always can experience:It depends on the extent to team atmosphere(such as team trust),which determine the number of teams are more likely than others to experience positive emotions, thus increasing satisfaction.Based on the implicit assumption,in order to explore the impact of positive emotions and team trust in conflict with the task of job satisfaction.Data were collected from 368 full-time employees who came from enterprises and institutions located in Changsha and Yinchuan.Cronbach’s alpha coefficients for the above measures were from 0.72 to 0.94, showing good measurement reliabilities. Results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated the discriminant validity of the measurement was also satisfactory. Total effect moderation model were utilized to analyze the data for testing the hypotheses proposed.In line with predictions the results showed that had a significant positive influence on Specifically, task conflict positive effect on job satisfaction was fully mediated by positive emotion. In addition, results of total effect moderation model analysis suggested team trust status in organizations significantly moderated the relationship between task conflict and positive emotion. Task conflict was more strongly associated with positive emotion when team trust higher status. |
