On The Standardization Of English Translation Of Wushu Routines

Chinese traditional culture is a unique component of Chinese traditional culture, the Chinese martial arts are unique to the Chinese language, which is the inevitable result of many obstacles in the translation of martial arts. It can be said that the current confusion of the translation of Wushu Terms has become the biggest constraints of foreign exchange and the spread of martial arts. The martial arts action name is the most basic part of the martial arts, recording and bearing the whole process of the development of the martial arts culture, the standardization of the translation of martial arts routines. Therefore, this article takes the martial arts action name translation as the research object, using the literature material law, the expert interview method, the questionnaire survey method, the induction method and so on many kinds of research methods, proposed the martial arts action name translation should follow the several standard, and realizes the standard translation.In the end, it is necessary to make the international promotion of Chinese martial arts more powerful, formulate the standard of English translation of Chinese martial arts, and realize the standardization of English translation of Wushu. Moreover, the standardization of the English translation of Chinese martial arts should be based on the national standard, and gradually extended to the traditional martial arts.Based on this conclusion, the author puts forward the following suggestions:First, to standardize the English translation of the national standard, the name of the standard and the related terms, and to realize the standardization, especially in some special occasions such as the international martial arts competition, or the books and papers written in English must be standardized.Second, to amend the existing Martial Arts English dictionary, the word to delete the multiple translation and multi word translation, promoting the standardization progress.Third, the authority of the organization of the Academic Conference on the existing martial arts translation of the improper place for revision and unification.Fourth, a large number of training professional martial arts to the translation of talent, focus on the integration of martial arts disciplines and language disciplines.
