Research On The Current Situation And Strategy Of English Translation Of Wushu Terms

Wushu has a long and profound historical and cultural background.As a kind of Chinese traditional culture,it can reflect the unique spirit of national culture,and Wushu itself is also a kind of living culture which is in need of conservation.The inheritance and the spread of it needs more accurate expressions,the cultural heritage is not only in the domestic inherit,but also spreads to the world,but when we spread it,we can find the expressions in Wushu terms involve a lot,and it becomes the hardest part in spreading Wushu.In recent years,the speed of the development of Wushu in the world is very rapid.Chinese Wushu in the world's sports culture plays a more and more important role,so the translation of Wushu terms in this process also shows more and more important value.From the main journals,the study on the translation of Wushu terms has already become a hot topic in Wushu and translation circles.But at the same time,the translation of Wushu terms also has problems to be solved urgently.These problems not only involve the acceptability of the readers to the translation,but also the specific translation strategies used by the translators to solve the intercultural conflict.The English translation of Wushu terms is the most widely used and disseminated method in the world.It is different from the strict terminology translation of law,medicine and other specialties.But the translation requires a better understanding of the culture and translation about Wushu.To make Chinese Wushu easier to be understood and accepted by the foreign learners and to do a better job of promoting the international popularization of Wushu,the professionalization of Wushu terms translation is imperative.This paper uses literature,expert interviews,statistics and other methods to clarify the essential characteristics of Wushu terms,and point out the current problems and causes existing in the English translation of Wushu terms from language,culture analysis and functional perspective aspects,as well as the latest research results on the English translation of Wushu terms,and it analyzes and draws the rules of the translation of the reshaped Wushu terms,and it actively explores the best expression of the translation of Wushu terms,unifies the translation standards and principles,improves the translator's professional level of cultural understanding and terminology translation in Wushu terms,and also correspond strategy and methods to establish relevant departments,policies,regulations and funds to support the translation of Wushu terms.
