The usage of adverb is complex, so teaching adverb is the difficulty and the key in the teaching of Chinese. Adverb "Dou" is one of the primary vocabulary in the Outline of Chinese Vocabulary and Level, the foreign students will learn it in the early stages. Because of the frequency of using "Dou" is also too high, and at the same time its usage is quite flexible. As a result, foreign students often make mistakes in the process of using "Dou". Based on the HSK dynamic corpus and questionnaire for students in the Changsha Medical College and East China Normal University, this paper is mainly talking about acquisition of "Dou" for foreign students. The paper makes a summary of the types of errors on foreign students acquisition, and explores the causes of errors. Becides, the paper makes an analysis on different types of teaching materials and conclude the grammar points and practices related to the "Dou",then according to the results, provide with references and teaching design for teaching adverb "Dou" to the teachers who teaches Chinese as a second language.Paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly illustrates the reasons and value of writing this paper, and introduces the status quo of the study for modern Chinese adverb "Dou". At the same time, introduces the research content, research methods and the scope of the study.The content of second chapter is to analysis the errors based on the HSK corpus.The paper makes a summary of the types of errors on students acquisition.The third chapter is the research of acquisition of the adverb "Dou" about students from Changsha Medical College and East China Normal University. And finally analysis the results of the research.The forth chapter is to explore the causes of errors and according to the results,the paper provide with the references for teaching adverb "Dou".The fifth chapter is based on the research above, make a teaching design for learning adverb "Dou".
