Since the nation had paid more attention to,the comic and cartoons as the industry were involved in the China’s Eleventh Five-Year development plan. Specially the cartoon has the rapid development. But there are still some problems,for example the audience is too limited to teenagers,the story is too cheap. And in several years SARFT took several details to regulate the environment of broadcast, including banning Japanese cartoons on TV and limiting the types of cartoons.So this article focus on the problem,and researches on the Evil in Japanese cartoons which is the type of cartoon and named cult cartoon. Though deeply interviewing 29 people,this paper explore the three types of encoding cult cartoon:Totally accept;Coordinating interpret;Exclusive refuse.And there are several effects that decide audience how to encoding the cult cartoon,such as age,education background and degree of awareness.And as well,this paper discuss the reasons of cult cartoon’s development.In conclusion, this paper explore the significance of the cult cartoon and find the different perspective of cartoon’s development ideas. Though analyzing 25samples’ worldview,character and story settings, the research find some deep social significance.
