The comprehensive course is a main one in the language study. As an all-sided course, itplays the role of overall arrangement among skill courses. Meanwhile, it is difficult to master thecourse. In light of the necessity of overall planning and avoiding catching one and losing another.It is impossible for those Chinese teachers who lack of experience to adapt to the appropriateness.Because of the inadequacy in cognition&concept, and operation&teaching methods, there arelots of problems in the class of Chinese comprehensive course in the early stage: Thecomprehensive course is changed into grammar course; the “cramming education” by teachersthat ignores the interaction between teacher&students and the learning interest of students; theimproper teaching language choice reduces the input efficiency; too much explanation oncharacters; the training for learning strategies and students’ autonomous learning is insufficientetc. Therefore, the good teaching design is a guide for teachers to master&optimize the class.The thesis will systematically collate the researches on the teaching design of Chinesecomprehensive course in the early stage and the relevant experience; make clear the relevanttheories and methods of teaching design&comprehensive course; and deeply analyze theteaching objects&environment. It utilizes the scientific theories and methods into the teachingdesign, and makes a detailed teaching design for the19th lesson of Chinese Textbook II,Traditonal Chinese Paintings Differ from Oil Paintings. In the design process, all of the science,interestingness, connotation, knowledge, effectiveness and systematicness are taken intoconsideration so as to serve as a spur to induce students to come forward with their ideas. Thethesis aims to help TCSL teachers fully recognize and master the Chinese comprehensive coursein the early stage and to provide beneficial reference for their teaching design&practice, andfinally to realize the target of optimizing Chinese teaching effect.The thesis includes the following five chapters:Chapter1is an introduction; the main content covers the context of selecting topic, researchpurpose&methods.Chapter2is the theoretical basis, summarizing the relevant researches concerning theteaching design of comprehensive course and concerning the comprehensive course in earlystage. Chapter3is an explanation on the teaching design idea of Traditonal Chinese PaintingsDiffer from Oil Paintings, an elementary Chinese comprehensive lesson. The relevant factors ofteaching design like teaching objects&environment, textbook, lesson type, and the teachingcontent and target, important and difficult points and the selection of teaching language&training aids are fully analyzed and described in the chapter. The overall idea of this teachingdesign is presented.Chapter4is the specific plan of class teaching; it makes theoretical analysis andexplanation in detail on the parts of design.Chapter5is to summarize and reflect the teaching design, and then analyze theinadequacies to optimize the teaching design.
