The Study On Literary Youth(1981～1987)

Wenzhou has caught attention with its rapid development of economyfor a long period, the economic development pattern is known as thefamous Wenzhou pattern. Under the glory of wealth, it also has aprofound background and fertile soil for literature, the Literary Youth,animportant literary publication was born in this land.In the early1980’s, under the national literature fever sweeping,Wenzhou Culture bureau launched this publication. Unlike previousliterature publication, the editors in Literary Youth also openedface-to-face teaching classes and correspondence classes to gatheredliterature enthusiasts around the whole country to participated in, andinvited Wenzhou local famous cultural celebrities to be teachers offace-to-face teaching classes and correspondence classes. Between1983and1984, Literary Youth reached its peak, the circulation achieved eightythousand copies. Nationwide literary people generally thinks highly of it,it was one of the "four pioneers" youth literature publication with Mengya,Youth and Young Writers magazine.This article is divided into three chapters,the first one throughcarding its history skeleton and changing characteristics to show itspublication style and divided the publication development into threestages. The second chapter analysis the important works and outstandingworks of each stage and observe the tendency of selected articles byeditors, to grasp the impact of domestic literature trend to Wenzhou localliterature,and then explore the rheological of its creating style. The thirdchapter research the publication writers group and roughly divided it intotwo parts.One is the national well-known writers, the other is literarypromising people and local writers. The national well-known writersgroup in addition to writing, some of them are hired by Literary Youth asliterary consultants to helped organize manuscripts; Most of Literary promising people especially local writers onto the road of creationthrough Literary Youth.In1987s,Literary Youth stop published because of complex reasons,but the influence in Wenzhou literary circle was not stoped.Representative writers like Wang Shou, Ye Ping, Cheng Shaoguo andgrowing up young writers formed a literary "Wenzhou phenomenon"which was spotted in the national literary circles. In this paper, on thebasis of combing this publication, will analysis famous writers part of theliterary"Wenzhou phenomenon"and discuss the association with theLiterary Youth.
