| Recently, some outstanding literary works of Eileen Chang is constantlyon the silver screen, showing its new vitality to the world with a new attitude.In this thesis, Eileen Chang the film adaptation of five novels for example,namely "love in a fallen city","female","the red and the white rose","halflife","color, ring", from the character image to re shape, image ambiguity, thetheme of re-positioning the three angle analysis of new novels, aesthetic effectin film adaptation process, in-depth the style difference and the text to theimage in the course of transition.This paper is divided into four chapters: the first chapter through detailedaccount of the relationship between Eileen Chang’s novels and movies, revealthe story in Eileen Chang’s fiction legend,bright sense of pictures, cinematicrefinement film characteristics, and points out that Eileen Chang’s uniquelanguage style is difficult to image;The second chapter review of the five main characters in the filmadaptation of the novel image, analytical films do cause different changes ofthe characters in the novels, and summarizes the characters and changes forthe film adaptation of the losses;In the third chapter, the film "the red and the white rose","half life" and"color ring?" as an example, in-depth analysis of connotation expanded in thefilm and filled with a special image in the novel, unearth the rich picture image ambiguity function, also convey the film by adding relevant images tosublimation theme objective;The fourth chapter is about the research changes adapted into a film, noveltheme, five films according to the change of theme into the theme of love andhumanity theme two.
