Cultural creative industry is booming, known as the twenty-first Century "sunriseindustry","gold industry". Cultural and creative industry is a new industry in theknowledge economy, the information technology revolution and the culturaleconomy background, the development of cultural and creative industries tocreate more social wealth, employment opportunities, and the development ofsocial economy, more and more profound influence. Hubei province is a big culturalprovince, should actively develop cultural and creative industries, unwilling to lagbehind, to become the engine of regional economic development, to enhance the strategicchoice for Hubei province to upgrade the industrial form figure and change the economicgrowth mode. The development is the core of the competition ability is enhanced, and then,Hubei’s cultural creative industry the development has an objective and accurate analysisof the case, to put forward effective development path.This paper first discusses the concept of cultural and creative industries, atpresent, the experts and scholars on the concept of cultural creative industries arenot definite, explains the author in reading, understanding, for the understanding of theconcept; Then this paper discusses the theories of Industrial Competitiveness: Based on thetheory of industrial competitiveness, the endowment of natural resources based onindustrial competitiveness theory, based on technological innovation theory, industrialcompetitiveness system and structure based on the theory of industrial competitivenessof the creative class, then defines the connotation of cultural and creative industrycompetitiveness. Then, describe the current situation of the development of cultural andcreative industries in Hubei Province, in detail including the development situation andexisting problems, from the qualitative analysis of advantages of cultural and creativeindustries in Hubei province and the disadvantages are analyzed in detail, as for the variouselements of Hubei cultural creative industry to pave the way for the diamond model analysis. Then the fourth chapter, according to the domestic and foreign many on the"Diamond Model" of empirical research, validation of the important role of diamondmodel in the evaluation system of a country’s industrial competitiveness. Thetheoretical tools the Potter’s diamond model as the analysis, from the factors ofproduction, demand conditions, related and supporting industries, business strategy, thegovernment behavior, the opportunity of six factors on the empirical analysis of thein Hubei current development of cultural creative industry. Finally, based onthe empirical analysis as the foundation, from the aspect of "six factors of diamondmodel" are targeted suggestions: The implementation of talent technologicalinnovation, improve the allocation mechanism; the transition of culture consumptionconcept, stimulate the market demand for energy; to strengthen the cultural construction ofthe park, to upgrade the industry agglomeration effect; strengthen the industry brandstrategy, build strong cultural enterprises; optimize policy environment, protectpublic service fairness; homeopathic seize the initiative, the initiative to respond flexiblyto changes, in order to enhance the competitiveness of the cultural and creative industries inHubei.
