Investigation On The Spectrum Of Diseases In Emergency Rapid Service Department In A Comprehensive Third Grade Hospital In Jin Cheng City

Objective:To understand disease distribution among ages, sex, seasons, et al. of emergency green channel system in hospital, and explore the relationship between the diseases composition and its high incidence, through investigating and analyzing the relevant information hospital patients with emergency green channel of from November 2011 to December 2015., Then we analyzed its potential influencing factors, studied the characteristics of the region’s emergency disease. The results can be used to optimizethe resources distribution of emergency department, to offer reference to the targeted training, and to provide the scientific basis for the emergency supplies, equipment, personnel and technology organization and management.Methods:Through the investigation for in emergency medical service department in a comprehensive third grade hospital in Jin Cheng city,, medical records of 661 patients in emergency green channel were collected in November 2011 to December 2015, according to the inclusion criteria. The patient information including age, gender, hospitalization days,departments and total cost of emergency et al. was built using EXCEL spreadsheets. the data ananlysis were used EXCEL statistical.Results:( 1) Since the establish emergency green channel was built in November 2011, the number of hospitalized patients had significant increasing trend during the four years in.(2)Among the inpatients, men and women ratio is 2.98:1; aged 46- 50 group was most( 13.16%),aged 91-95 group, was least(0.03%).(3) In spring winter and summer, most patients accounted for 26.63% and 26.33% respectively; in Autumn, accounting for 26.02%; The spring, at least 21.03%; The diseases composition were different among different seasons, and all kinds of accordding to the onset of disease.(4) The first top 4 diseases in the emergency department were diseases of the nervous system, the emergency department, orthopedic,intensive medicine, of the total number of patients with emergency green channel 27.08%,22.69%, 9.98%, 22.69%, respectively.(5)Emergency green channel emergency diagnosis or hospitalized patients complained of disease affected by regional position and trauma in the first place.Conclusion:This study revealed the common diseases of hospitalized patients with emergency green channel among ages, gender and seasons.It is advantageous to arrange emergency medical resources reasonably, and to adapt the new situation of emergency work.
