Objective:Preeclampsia(pre-eclamptic, PE) is a pregnancy specific complication incidence, has its own characteristics, pathogenesis is still not clear. The disease seriously affects maternal and child health is a major cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. There may be a relationship between the incidence of preeclampsia and abnormal expression in the placenta. To detect the expression level of patients with severe preeclampsia placenta tissue ICAM-1and OX40-L, to investigate its relationship with the onset of severe preeclampsia patients. Methods:Choosing 32 cases of severe preeclampsia patients as the experimental group and another32 cases of normal pregnant women as the control group, neither of whom had past medical or surgical diseases. There were no history of autoimmune disease and immune tolerance related diseases before and after the two groups of pregnancy. And the ICAM-1 and OX40-L expression profile in the placenta tissues was studied using the enzyme-linked Immunosorbent adsorption method(ELISA) method. These two independent samples t test were used to compare. Statistical methods using SPAA17.0 software, the difference of P<0.05 was statistically significant. Results:The expression level of CAM-1 in placenta tissues in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group; while the expression level of OX40-L in placenta tissues in experimental group was significantly lower than that in control groups(P < 0.05). It is believed that the ICAM-1 in the severe preeclampsia group is higher than that in the normal group, while the OX40-L is lower than that in the normal pregnant women. There was nosignificant correlation between the ICAM-1 and OX40-L in the placental tissues of the two groups. Conclusion:The level of ICAM-1 expression significantly increased, while the expression of OX40-L significantly decreased in the placenta of patients with severe preeclampsia. Placental tissue cytokines ICAM-1 elevated, prompting the occurrence of vascular inflammation, injuring vascular endothelial, increasing the vascular toxic substances and inflammatory mediators release, causing systemic small artery spasm, causing high blood pressure; decreased the expression of immune tolerance of OX40-L, parent of semi allogeneic transplantation pregnancy immune tolerance balance can be affected. And the quantitative change of ICAM-1which was related with autoimmune inflammation and OX40-L which was related with immune tolerance may have a certain relationship with the severe preeclampsia.
