Now, China is rapidly entering the aged society. There are a lot of patients with chronic diseases. Besides, due to the increased pressure of life, more and more young people have gradually been chronic diseases. Medical care and timely communication between patients and doctors are the key measure to prevent chronic diseases. However due to the lack of hospital medical resources and medical staff, patients can’t get timely care and effective communication with doctors. So the treatment effect is not ideal. Besides traditional home physiological parameter monitoring instruments do not connect with the internet, the real-time monitoring data can’t be uploaded to a remote central server. This is not conducive to long-term continuous monitoring of the patient, and this is also not conducive to patient history diseases analysis. With the rapid development of modern communications technology, the mobile Health is a rapid development research based on Android in recent years. The Android system have the open source and high performance-price ratio characteristic. Designed the mobile health care system based on Android, it makes the conventional monitoring equipment connect with the mobile internet technology, relying on the cloud services, cloud computing and other large data analysis which will provide important new tools for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.In the mobile health care system based on Android, relying on Android smartphone system, we design an Android APP. The software have six modules that are registration and login module, physiological parameters display module, abnormal alarm module, extensions features module, system configuration module and server communication module. The extensions features module includes doctors and users communication module, health manager module, knowledge encyclopedia module. The remote communication module runs through every module of the whole system. The client APP could display physiological parameters, show abnormal alarm, pre-diagnosis, be real-time communication between doctors and users, communicate between the mobile and the remote cloud service centers.In the mobile health care system, Physiological parameter will be collected by physiological parameters detecting terminal and transmitted the data via WI-FI module to the remote cloud server center and stored in the database. Basing on HTTP remote communication technology,the cloud server center achieves communication between smartphone and remote server. Using Tomcat technology constructs the remote cloud service centers. Using Servlet technology responds to client requests and passes the response content to the cloud server, the cloud server will respond back to the client. Using JSON technology packages the data and transfers to client for resolving. Using MySQL database technology saves the physiological data and users’ information. Remote cloud server provides physiological parameter of a patient for the Android client to view, display, upload information, pre-diagnosis of the disease and other services.Finally, we performed an integrity test on the system. The results show that the system has the operability and reliability and indicate that the mobile health care system based on Android has achieved the desired design goals.
