With the development of human society, many people would like to see the evolution as a competition for survival of the fittest. But in fact, evolution means how we adjust ourselves to the world. And this is just like the way of biological cell. While facing the strike from outside, the biological cell may undergo a self-adaption and self-repair process to adjust itself to fit the ever changing environment. In the medical service areas, it’s significant for the hospital who acting as the key role in the medical service system to offer timely and high-quality medical services to save human beings. As is known to all, there is strength in numbers. If we make a comparison between hospital and biological bell, one single cell’s ability is limited when facing the shock. While the tissue, consist of numbers of cells, may resist the shock and recover quickly from the destruction by the shock. Therefore we may consider the same effects in hospital networks would work to improve the ability of hospital network to resist the emergency disaster. The biological cell elasticity theory was brought in to make research in the medical supply chain network. We assimilated the hospital network to the cellular tissue and focused on the ability to resist deformation and to recover.(1)According to the structure and behavior characteristics of the hospital network, this thesis will define the resilience indicator of the hospital network firstly. After this, we will establish hospital network resilience model by referring to the basic structure and thought of biological cells elasticity model. Then this thesis will consider such situation. The emergency disaster cause tremendous injuries and medical resources demands in a short period somewhere in the multi-hospital network, the rescue can’t undergo well due to the lack of medical resources. At the same time, hospitals nearby or in this network may still have redundant medical resources while resource from outside still need time to transfer. During this period, we make scheduling strategy between hospitals to transfer redundant resources and assimilate the process as the ability of cellular tissue to resist the deformation caused by sudden shock.(2)On the basis of the hospital network resilience indicator, this thesis will consider such a situation. The medical resources in the whole hospital network are exhausted and the medical resource supply is disrupted. We assumed that the resources outside of this area arrived in time T and during this period, we make scheduling strategy to recover the whole hospital network. This process is similar to the ability of cellular tissue to recover from the shock.(3)On the foundation of these two scheduling strategy, we will analysis the changing trend of the medical resources demand ratio to find the key resilience influence factors. Based on this, we can learn more about the hospital network resilience. We hope this thesis can enrich the research on the medical supply chain and put forward a different way to improve the resilience of hospital network. At the same time, decision makers may get more useful ways to make better decision on emergency rescue.
