Objective: To investigate the status quo of nurses' psychological resilience and compassion fatigue in a Top three hospital in Changchun.To analyze the related factors affecting nurses' psychological resilience and compassion fatigue.To provide suggestions and theoretical basis for improving nurses' resilience relieving compassion fatigue and mobilizing positive emotions in the future.Methods: 350 nurses from 3A Hospital in Changchun were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey.The questionnaire was divided into three parts: the basic situation questionnaire,the Chinese version of compassion fatigue scale and the Chinese version of psychological resilience scale.The questionnaire was collected within the same day as it was distributed.The completed questionnaire will be regarded as valid and the scores will be obtained.All the collected data were entered by excel 2010,and SPSS21.0 was used for statistical analysis of the entered data,mainly using single factor analysis of variance,descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis and other methods.Results:(1)A total of 360 questionnaires were distributed in this study,and 350 questionnaires were effectively recovered.The effective recovery rate was 97.2%.(2)The compassion fatigue of nurses in this survey is at a moderate level.the statistical analysis results show that the differences in age,educational level,marital status,income,professional title,work type,nursing age,night shift number and the scores of empathy fatigue of nurses in different departments are statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The total score of nurses' resilience in this study is(62.91±14.00),which is lower than the norm of our country(65.4±13.9).There were significant differences in scores of psychological elasticity among nurses of different ages,educational level,marital status,professional title,income,job type,nursing age,department and night shift number(P<0.05).(4)There is a correlation between nurses' psychological resilience and compassion fatigue in this study.The dimensions of resilience,self-improvement and optimism were negatively correlated with the total scores of job burnout,secondary stress trauma and compassion fatigue,and positively correlated with compassion satisfaction(p < 0.05).(5)The length of service of nurses has a negative effect on compassion fatigue;The number of night shifts has a positive effect on compassion fatigue.Conclusion:(1)The nurses in a 3A hospital in Changchun are in moderate compassion fatigue,and their psychological elasticity level is lower than that of normal people in China.(2)There is a correlation between psychological elasticity and compassion fatigue.(3)The longer nurses work,the lower the compassion fatigue score.The more night shifts,the higher the compassion fatigue score.
