Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of the levels of serum testosterone,adiponectin and homocysteine in old male patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods:A total of 122 old male patients enrolled into this study were selected from the People′s Hospitel of Qinghai Province from january 2014 to december 2015,healthy people as the control,n=44;T2DM patients without CHD, n=40; T2 DM patients complicated with CHD, n=38; We collected clinical data such as age,waist,height,weight,blood pressure and diabetes. Through the detection of the blood glucose(FPG),fasting insulin(FINS),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb Alc),blood lipid( TC.TG,LDL-C, HDL-C),serum adiponectin( with ELISA),serum testosterone(with immunoturbility),serum homocysteine(with ECLIA method)and the HOMA-IR(by counting)of 122 male patients were measured.Furthermore we also investigated the clinical significance of serum testosterone,adiponectin and homocysteine in old male patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with coronary heart disease(CHD) through analysise the relations between this clinical datas through statistical software.Results:1、Compared with controls, the BMI、the Blood pressure、the Age and the Waist,the differences did not achieve statistical significance.2、Compared with controls, the Hcy、FPG、FINS、Hb Alc、TG、LDL-C and HOMA-IR levels in T2 DM patients without CHD and T2 DM patients complicated with CHD are apparently higher, but the APN、T、HDL-C are apparently lower,and the T2 DM patients complicated with CHD is the most obviously(,The differences are statistically significant between this three groups,except the Hcy had no statistical significance between T2 DM patients without CHD and T2 DM patients complicated with CHD. 3、Through correlation analysis,the serum APN have a correlation with Hcy,TG,LDL-C,HOMA-IR,and HDL-C and serum T,while the serum T have a correlation with LDL-C,HOMA-IR,HDL-C,and the serum APN,the serum Hcy have a correlation with FPG,LDL-C,HOMA-IR and the serum APN.4 、 Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that HOMA-IR independently associated with serum APN,while the LDL-C independently associated with serum T and Hcy.Conclusion:The level of the serum APN,the serum T and the serum Hcy have a close relationship with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with coronary heart disease(CHD),monitoring their level changes can provides some references for the appropriate treatment and intervention for clinical,it also will help to improve the treatment and prognosis of patients.
