Objective:By detecting the expression of PPP1R14D protein in non small cell lung cancer, and studying the correlation between clinical features and pathological characteristics of NSCLC patients,in order to provide experimental evidence for the new therapeutic targets of non small cell lung cancer.Methods:Paraffin blocks were collected from January 2008 to January 2016, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University.103 cases untreated patients had surgical specimens of NSCLC derived tissue and para-carcinoma tissue.The clinical data of these patients with NSCLC classified summary.The expression of PPP1R14D were detected in NSCLC tissue and para-carcinoma tissue by immunohistochemistry.Results:1.The expression of PPP1R14D protein in lung cancer and adjacent tissues of lung cancerPPP1R14D protein is mainly expressed in the cytoplasm and nucleus of non small cell lung cancer cell.There were 58 cases of non small cell lung cancer with positive expression in 103 cases, there were 55 cases without expression. There were 26 cases with positive expression in carcinoma adjacent tissues and 77 cases without expression.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),suggesting that the abnormal expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer.2. Expression of PPP1R14D protein in non small cell lung cancer of different sex and ageThere were 103 cases in this study, including 66 males and 37 female,PPPlR14D protein in non-small cell lung cancer in 33 patients with positive expression the expression level in men, no expression in 33 cases,25 cases of positive expression of women, no expression in 12 cases, there was no statistically significant difference (P=0.085), suggesting that the expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer had no significant relationship with sex.There were 103 cases in this study, including 45 cases of less than 60 years old and 58 cases of more than 60 years old,29 cases of positive expression in less than 60 years old, no expression in 16 cases,29 cases of positive expression in greater than and equal to 60 years old,29 cases of negative expression, the difference was not statistically significant (P=0.143),suggesting that the expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer had no significant relationship with age.3. Expression of PPP1R14D in lung squamous cell carcinoma and lung adenocarcinomaThere were 103 cases in this study, including 34 cases quamous cell carcinoma and 69 cases adenocarcinoma,16 cases of positive expression in squamous cell carcinoma, no expression in 18 cases,42 cases were positive expression in adenocarcinoma, no expression in 27 cases, there was no statistically significant difference (P=0.184),suggesting that the expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer had no significant relationship with histological type.4. Expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer with different primary tumor stage and lymph node metastasis stageThere were 103 cases in this study, including 49 cases of T 1,42 cases of T2,11 cases of T3 and 1 cases of T4,26 cases of positive expression in T1, no expression in 23 cases,26 cases of positive expression in T2, no expression in 16 cases,5 cases of positive expression in T3, no expression in 6 cases,1 cases of positive expression in T4, no expression in 0 cases, there was no statistically significant difference (P=0.563),suggesting that the expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer was not significantly related to the size of the primary tumor. There were 103 cases in this study, including 53 cases of no lymph node metastasis and 50 cases of ymph node metastasis,29 cases of positive expression in no lymph node metastasis, no expression in 24 cases,29 cases of positive expression in N1/N2, negative in 21 case, the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.737),suggesting that the expression of PPP1R14D in non-small cell lung cancer was not significantly related to the metastasis of lymph nodes.5. Expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer with different phase of TNMThere were 103 cases in this study, including 39 cases of phase I,27cases of phase II and 37cases of phase 111,22 cases of positive expression in phase I, no expression in 17 cases,13 cases of positive expression in phase II, no expression in 14 cases,23 cases were positive expression in stage III, no expression in 14 cases, the difference was not statistically significant (P=0.536),suggesting that the expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer had no significant relationship with the pathological stage.Conclusions:1.In this study,the positive expression of PPP1R14D in non small cell lung cancer was significantly higher than that in the carcinoma adjacent tissues, suggesting thatit may be related to the abnormal proliferation of non small cell lung cancer.2. In this study, PPP1R14D expression in non small cell lung cancer, there is no gender, age,histological type, primary tumor size, lymph node metastasis.and TNM pathological stage differences.
